近日收到朋友的一封電郵。我想是在其他地方轉貼過來。
題目是【您是幸運兒】
頗有意思的，我就貼在這裡，與大家分享吧！

恭喜您，因為有一百萬人將活不過一星期。
如果您不曾經歷戰爭的危險、

日間醫療中心的體會
較早前，我在政府日間醫療中心，做了一次小手術。（可即日出院）
因為要全身麻醉，護士在事前要做些必須工作。包括詢問有關早一天的飲食和身體狀況；量度血壓和檢查口腔等工作。
不知是否本人真的緊張關係，血壓一直在高水平。所以護士只有不停替我量度血壓，希望度數會回到正常水平。她還說血壓上升是很正常，心情緊張是很自然的事，不緊張才怪。當時我只覺她蠻有愛心呢！
細看四周到來的女士，大都氣定神閒，其中一位更翻閱雜誌。傾談中才曉得她已不是第一次到來，怪不得神態自若。護士還開對她玩笑說：「你不要看雜誌了，請專心聽我講述手術後的細節，手術後你會有很多時間消磨。嘩！你為什麼戴手飾來做手術？你不知道是不可以的嗎？」
護士又對另一位女士要求枺除胭脂、口紅和指甲油。以免被誤會是面色泛紅。
另一邊角落，一位長者在做完手術後半小時，正要收拾行裝，準備離開時；護士即以講笑的語氣說：「你這麼快要離開，有節目嗎？你要等你的女兒接你回家才行。而且醫生還未巡房。你看看電視吧！節目那麼精彩，不會悶的。」
我在腦海中，只感覺這裡不像政府的一般醫院。工作人員少了一份忙碌、緊張和不耐煩的神態。 從她們的行為中，發覺多了點親切和輕鬆的心情。
她們的表現，令我啟會到。若人在工作量不多的環境下工作，人與人之間的相處會變得更和恰，更親近。心情亦會較輕鬆愉快。
真希望醫管局能在護士招募中增添人員，減輕他們的工作量。那時候，病人就有福了。
